The Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE), rechristened as per the UGC (Open and Distance Learning Programmes and Online Programmes) Regulations, 2020, from 'Centre for Open and Distance Learning' (CODL), was established in 2011 with the objective of disseminating knowledge and imparting quality education in the open and distance learning mode. As the UGC Regulations 2020 has been adopted at TU, online programmes too are being introduced at the earliest possible opportunity.
